Kathleen and Tommy - Wedding

Last Weekend, I was in Wilkes-Barre, PA for Kathleen and Tommy's wedding.  It was an easy drive up the northeast extension, on a beautiful day.  I met up with Kathleen and her brides maids as they were just finishing up getting ready.  The dress was stunning, and the girls all looked great.  Soon after, I headed over to the Luzerne County Court house.  Inside, is some awesome architecture (every court house should look like this).  As the ceremony started, the girls made their way down the main staircase to the waiting crowd below.  Tommy's look, as he watch Kathleen and her dad come down the stairs was just full of happiness. After a short round of some family photos, we headed over to the reception.  The crowd was ready to dance, and lots of people took center circle to show off their moves!  Congrats Kathleen and Tommy!!

Jess & Daryl - Engagement Session

Last week, I went back to high school. . . ;)

It's been a long time since I have walked through the halls of Council Rock High School (I still refer as if there was only 1), but that is where Jess and Daryl wanted to shoot their engagement session.  Since I try to recommend that engagement sessions are done somewhere that has meaning between the future bride and groom, it was a perfect scene, since these two met in high school, in band.

Their wedding in October at Normandy Farms is looking like it will be a lot of fun, and I can't wait!

Willeatha and Jason - Brooklyn Engagement session

Last weekend, I took a quick trip up to New York for Willeatha and Jason's engagement session.   Having proposed to Willeatha on the Brooklyn Bridge, they thought it would make for the perfect backdrop for their engagement session.

It was really fun to hang out with these two before their wedding on July 4th!  They are both full of smiles and laughter :)

Lindsay and Chad's Jamaica wedding photos

Last summer I met Lindsay while photographing Jen and Todd's wedding.  Lindsay is a great makeup artist!  I met with her towards the end of the summer about photographing her wedding in Jamaica! I feel good each time I am asked to photograph a couples special day, but I was SO excited to have been trusted so much that they had to take me with them to Montego Bay.

After meeting with Chad and Lindsay - I was even more excited, as the wedding and reception was held at the all inclusive, 5 star resort - Iberostar Rose Hall Suites.

Destination weddings are a lot of work - not only for me, but for everyone involved and attending.  It means taking a full weekend (or more) off and lots of travel and commitment.  That makes it so much more special when you have over 60 people there with you!

Since I was in Jamaica for a few days after the wedding, I suggested to Lindsay and Chad that we walk around for a little while for a day after session.  They were both really excited and ready for it.
