A little while back, I got the chance to help out Doug Burns, photograph Jamie and Seth's wedding at the Spring Mill Manor in Ivyland. It was a fun day, with a great crowd dancing. Here's a few to preview.

I got to shoot with my good friend and fellow Circle of 8 photograper, Nicole Polk. I started off with the guys as they were hanging out and getting ready, then headed to the church. The wedding and reception were some much fun! Brittany had so many details planned and worked out for the day, it was wonderful!

Well, I have finally made it through the crazy (and fantastic) wedding season. I have a BUNCH of images to catch up on. To start, here is a wedding from Aldie Mansion that I shot along with Barton Paul. I got to shoot with the Canon 200mm f/2.0 IS lens. It's a whopper of a lens, but it is awesome! This is also one of the first times that I got to use the 24mm f/1.4 lens (before I bought it). I was hooked from the beginning.

On Halloween, I had the honor and pleasure of photographing Becky and Brian's wedding at the Joseph Ambler Inn. This wedding was particularly special to me, because I have known Becky and her family for a very long time. I started out by meeting up with Becky at her dad's house. Brian met us there for some pre-ceremony pictures. After, we headed to the Inn... where some of the bridal party were all dressed up in full costume (it was Halloween, after all!)

This past weekend, I photographed Melanie and Tom's wedding. A few weeks back, we shot their engagement session along the Delaware River. We started the day out at Melanie's parents house with all the girls getting ready. I could tell immediately that this was gonna be a fun packed day. The girls were all rehearsing their entrance dance to the reception - to the song of "Thriller" !
We moved onto Penn Ryn Mansion for some final prep, and then the ceremony.
Melanie and Tom decided to see each other before the ceremony, and as usual, it was a great choice. (being able to see each other before the ceremony allows for some private time between them, and also allows much more relaxed and fun portraits!)
The entire group was a blast to work with... laughing, joking and even some dancing! Somewhere in the middle of the reception, there was even fireworks... literally!
Here's just a few from the day ;)
