Lee Anne and Ken - Wedding

A couple weeks back, I photographed Lee Anne and Ken's wedding. This day turned out to be SO much fun - It's also a great day when you walk in and the first thing the bride does is give you a hug hello! Lee Anne, Ken and their family and friends were extra friendly and very open to try some new and fun ideas!  It may have been a long day... Driving from Holland, to near Wayne, NJ for the ceremony, then all the way over to almost Mt. Pocono back in PA... then home! .... but the images were worth it :) I even got to really use my new lens - a Canon 24mm f/1.4 - it's a dream of a lens.  More on it in later posts.

Here are a few (just so many to choose from) from the day...  a slideshow of their album is below.  Look for the comments that they wrote about what they thought!

From Lee Anne and Ken . . . Oh Erik! I cannot describe how amazing I think that the pictures look. You are truly gifted. Ken and I watched the slideshow three times before going to bed.  Now I have woken before sunrise thinking of them again. I can't thank you enough. You have received nothing but praise from all the guests and your work is incredible. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.

Keri and Jon - Bucks County Wedding

It may have rained the day before, and even a little after the ceremony, but when it counted... We had dry skies :) Keri and Jon were married on a private farm in Furlong (in the heart of Central Bucks County).  The entire setup was beautiful and their guests had a great time.

Starting out with the guys for some relaxed portraits, I headed over to meet up with the ladies just down the street.  They were close enough, that instead of the customary limo, they had a horse and carriage bring them to the ceremony.  It honestly, was like a fairytale story.

Enjoy a few from the day!

Beth and Steve - 2nd shoot

Meeting up with my good friend and fellow Philly wedding photographer (Philly8) member, Mark Gardner, we traveled south down to Cape May, NJ for Beth and Steve's wedding. This group, from the very beginning, was all about having a good time.  Everyone was in such a good and relaxed mood, it made our job so much easier - and even more fun! I was really excited to see that Beth choose an non-white dress.  It was close to a blue-ish color wedding dress - very cool!  and the black shoes just added to it!

The reception was held at the renowned Congress Hall with the sounds of the evening provided by the talented crew of Synergetic Sounds (coincidentally based locally out of Bensalem).

Normandy Farms wedding - 2nd shoot

Helping Michael Allebach out again, we were photographing at Normandy Farm in Blue Bell.  While we may have been rained out just in time for the ceremony, we were able to get some great portraits before and after around Normand Farm, and also at the Montgomery County Community College.

Alice and Mark - 2nd shoot

Shooting with Michael Allebach again, we were photographing Alice and Mark's wedding. We started with a few shots at the Sofitel in Philadelphia.    The wedding was held at the church on the University of Penn Campus.  From there, we traveled just a few blocks south towards Rittenhouse square, to Stotesbury Mansion.

The mansion has a lot of different rooms that are great to work with, including the elevator!
