Rebecca and Andy - 2nd shoot

I got the chance to second shoot with my friend Stacie Lech yesterday.  We were photographing Rebecca and Andy's wedding at the Hotel Du Pont in Wilmington Delaware.  These two grew up just down the street from each other and have know each other since they were about 5 years old.  The hotel was beautiful, and the band (CTO Park Avenue) was amazing.  Take a look at a few I was able to capture from the day.

Breaking from tradition, we did the formals with the bride and groom before the wedding.  It was really nice to have plenty of time and be relaxed during this part of the shoot.  This gives the bride and groom a chance to see each other and not be surrounded by guests and everyone else immediately following the ceremony, which usually leaves little time for portraits.  When you are planning your wedding, give it a consideration.

The Launch

I feel like a building has been lifted off of my shoulders.... The new website has been launched! There are still a few tweaks to make here and there, but overall I am so excited to have a new site that can display BIG pictures.

Take a look around and let me know what you think.

Pimp my Bride

So here is a video I found on Youtube from the Jimmy Kimmel show. It is kind of wedding related and I thought it was pretty funny. What would you do if Xhibit showed up at your wedding?!

Leave a comment below about what you thought about the clip!

2007 Year in review

Having just finished up my first "official" year in business, I am looking back and so happy I got to work with each and every one of you! What a great group of people to have met.A few people were extra kinda and wrote me a quick note about their shoots from this past year. Here is what a few said about their favorite picture.

WOW! How happy we are. So in love. That was the best day of our lives. The shoot was so much fun. All the shots were spontaneous and laid back.

- Vera and Dan

My favorite picture is from our engagement session.  The picture of Lee giving me a piggy back ride in front of the LOVE sign.  We both look so happy and relaxed.  The background sums up everything in our faces.  And now that I know why the "o" is crooked, it helps remind me that we aren't going to be perfect but the LOVE is worth it!

- Steph and Lee

We were both extremely nervous during the photograph. Knowing that your wedding day should be the most important day of your life puts extreme stress on everyone involved in the ceremony. Thankfully, Erik was a complete professional and put both of us at ease knowing that the photography was under control. Erik captured wonderful shots and helped our wedding to go smoothly and as we had planned.

Jolene and Mike - Album

Here is Jolene and Mike's album. Jolene planned a wonderful wedding in only a couple of months. Her family lives in Australia, so these two will be traveling there for another ceremony in the summer.
The portrait session with these two was extremely relaxed and we all had alot of fun.
You can see the post with their wedding pictures here
