This years Love Your Lungs 5k walk was another great success! My really good friend Jackie, has organized this for the past 3 years now, and it holds a special place in her and her family's heart.

Last year I photographed the first annual "Love Your Lungs" walk. This year, was the second! It is great to see a new charity fundraiser blossoming and become so successful. While the official numbers aren't in yet, I'm very certain they topped their donations from last year.
Love Your Lungs Walk
Last weekend I photographed the first annual "Love Your Lungs" walk for the Lungevity charity. My good friend Jackie tirelessly planned and hosted this entire event. This fundraiser is for lung cancer research and was started in memory of her grandfather. Since this was the first year, they had a goal of raising $10,000. Well, nearly 200 people turned out and a total of $25,000 was raised!!!
A big thanks goes to everyone that donated their time, engergy and services to make this such a big success.
