I was really excited to photograph Jess and Chris' wedding at Rosebank Winery in Newtown. When I first met with them, they told me they had some surprises lined up for the wedding. Just a few days before the wedding, I found out that Chris has a connection to someone (pretty awesome) at Rogue Brewery. With that connection, they had their own bottles labeled with a custom picture of the two of them... enjoying beer. It was such a cool detail that tells so much about them.
And probably one of my most favorite wedding photos was captured at this wedding too. Just look at the last picture of this post. I mean... how cute is that little kid?!
Danielle and Mark - Wedding at The Merion
It was such a blast to work with Danielle and Mark leading up to and during their wedding. I could tell during their engagement photo session in Wildwood, that they would be really fun to spend the day with. And on their wedding day, everyone was so relaxed and ready to have a great time. Besides having so much fun, it was my pleasure to be included as part of their wedding. After their ceremony in Maple Shade, NJ, we headed into Philly for their wedding party pictures at the Azalea Garden near the Art Museum. From there, we traveled back to Cinnaminson, NJ for their wedding reception at The Merion.
The Merion is a fantastic venue that knows a thing or two about hosting a party.
Enjoy the sampling of their wedding below:
Katie and Dan - Cape May shore wedding
It's full blown wedding season! Before heading out to a few for this weekend, I just wanted to post Katie and Dan's wedding from a few weeks ago. Their beach wedding in Cape May, NJ was such a relaxed and smooth running day. From the time I showed up until the end of the reception, everyone was just full of high spirits for such a fun and awesome day.
I just love this shot of Katie and Dan's first look. It reminds me of the anticipation that Katie built up as she got into place.
Julie and Rob - Philly Hotel Monaco wedding
It was really just a few weeks ago that we were dealing with one of the snow storms with about 4" of snow coming down - on top of the piles of snow already there. During this weekend, I met up with Julie and Rob for their engagement session in Old City, Philadelphia. Fast forward to their wedding at the Hotel Monaco. While we didn't venture outside because of the rain, we made great use of the Hotel Monaco's gorgeous decor. As I started the day with the Julie and her bridesmaids, I could sense the calmness. Everything came together and went off without a hitch. The flowers by Carl Alan, were stunning, but definitely shadowed by how great Julie and Rob looked.
The band, Burnt Sienna, kept the dance floor packed the entire night. They were such a hit, the wedding guests wouldn't let them finish and insisted on an encore.
It was a great wedding and I was so happy to be part of their day!
Miriam and Louis - Wedding
I recently photographed Miriam and Louis' wedding at the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill, NJ. Miriam and Louis planned most, if not all, of this wedding from Pittsburgh where they live right now. They both did an excellent job with it, because it was a ton of fun to be part of. From the start of the day with Miriam and her bridesmaids while they all got ready, to some of Louis and his groomsmen, everyone was so easy to work with. As we set up Louis for their first look, I could tell he was a little nervous, but it was instantly washed away when Miriam came walking up to him.
Before their ketubah signing, they hosted a cocktail hour for their guests while Louis and some of his close guy friends went of for his Tisch.
The rest of the day followed the early parts of just running so smooth followed by a great reception.
