So after a 6hr delay (yes..., 6hrs) flight from Philly, I made it to Seattle. The first day of the went really well yesterday. I met lots of people and had a great time talking to each of them.
After the seminar was over, I took some time to relax then met up with the photographer friends in the area. We went bowling (no pictures of that, sorry,) and had lots of fun. After we finished up bowling, Josh Gene was kind enough to be my local tour guide. It was relatively late, especially for a Sunday night, so there wasn't as much active night life. Even with the lack of the busy streets, It was really nice to see a new city.
Here are a few shots that I did get from that night.
The Space Needle from Kerry Park
A couple taking in the nice weather and the beautiful scenery.
The Famous fish market.(this is where they throw the fish around...LOL) This place is usually FILLED with people during the day
A cool scooter outside
I laughed at the chalk draw Salmon
and of course, you can't visit Seattle with out mentioning Starbucks. This one below is the FIRST ever Starbucks. (I even saw a 2-story Starbucks out here too...apparently it is pretty common here. I'm used to the corner stores and the ones inside other buildings.)
Check back soon for pictures from Salt Lake City!
