Last week I met up with Sonia and Steve at the Philadelphia Art Museum. Taking advantage of the gorgeous weather, we walked around the outside of one of Philadelphia's most famous buildings. Using the beautiful sunlight and also the skyline in the background, we had a really fun time with their engagement session.
Chrissy and Ryan - Engagement Session
Last weekend, I made the trip down to see Chrissy and Ryan. If they look familiar, that's because Chrissy is Lisa's sister and Ryan is Mike's brother! It's pretty cool to see these two again since the wedding. We headed down to the beach for their engagement session right near one of the pier's in Ventnor City, just south of Atlantic City. We started off with their little Lola tagging along for a few pics, then continued just the 3 of us. The light was perfect that day, but as the sun set, I used a little photography magic (flash :D) and got some unique engagement sunset pictures for them! Once I look at the image on the camera, I know if I got the shot or not.... and after this session... I knew I got it!
Enjoy!!
Jen and Chris - Engagement
What a busy year this has started out to be! A bunch of awesome engagement sessions - and they have all ROCKED! For this latest one, I drove up to Piermont, NJ (near the Tapanzee Bridge) to meet up with Jen and Chris. Referred to me by another photographer that was already booked for their wedding date, Jen and Chris have a very certain still of photography in mind, and I'm really glad that I can be part of their wedding in October. For their Engagement session, we walked around the pier for a little bit, but as the wind chill drove us away, we were able to get some fun shots back in the small town (REALLY small town). We walked around and they gave me the freedom that makes my job so much more fun! It didn't hurt that they were both pretty comfortable in front of the camera from the start. Lots of laughing (again, just they way I like my sessions), and we even hit the bar for a drink towards the end. Great way to finish off a really fun time.
Erin and Fran - Engagement Session
Last weekend, I met up with Erin and Fran for their engagement session. We met on a beautiful day in Fairmount Park, right in front of the Valley Green Inn. As usual, during the engagement sessions, I just like to take the time to take with each couple and find out what makes them tick. We walked around for about an hour and shared a ton of laughs! They were both very relaxed from the start in front of the camera. That makes my job a lot easier! While it may be repetitive for me to say this, I'm really looking forward to their wedding!
Tiffany and Nate - Engagement Session
More Engagement sessions! More happy people, more smiles, more laughing . . . and more dogs! I met up with Tiffany, Nate and Nate's daughter at Ridley Creek State Park. I don't know what it is this year, but I can't get people to stop laughing while photographing their engagement pictures. Tiffany and Nate weren't any different. Tons of laughs and just relaxed moods. The pups helped and a made an appearance in a few pictures. Bulldogs seem to be very easy to photograph, and Boxers are good for big sloppy (drooling) kisses.
